School may begin on August 12, but when are Learner-Led Conferences? Early Release Fridays? And what time is lunch?! Below we have all the important dates (and times!) for the Santa Clarita Valley International (SCVi) 2025-2026 school year right here. SCVi School Hours of Operation:
Lower / Elementary School
Transitional Kindergarten (TK):
- Monday-Thursday/Regular Day: 8:30 AM – 12:45 PM
- Friday/Minimum Day: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Grades K-8:
- Monday-Thursday/Regular Day: 8:30 AM – 3:10 PM
- Friday/Minimum Day: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Grades 9-12:
- Monday-Thursday/Regular Day: 8:30 AM – 3:10 PM
- Optional Electives: 3:15 – 4:05 PM
- Friday/Minimum Day: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
*All Fridays are early release days.*
Mealtimes
Through the Community Eligibility Program, we are serving both breakfast and lunch for FREE to every SCVi learner throughout the 2025-26 school year! Here are our Cafe hours (please see our Bell Schedule for times per group):

- September 1: Labor Day (No School)
- September 2: Lower School Picture Day
- September 4: Back to School Night, 5:30 – 7:00
- September 11-12: K-5 Assessments (min day K-5)
- September 25-26: Individualized Learning Plans, 1:15 – 4:00
October
- October 3: Individualized Learning Plans
- October 13-17: Mid-Fall Break (No School)
- October 25: Fall Festival
- October 21: PSAT
- October 23: SAT
- October 31: Halloween Parade
November
- November 2: Daylight Savings Time Ends (FALL BACK One Hour)
- November 11: Veterans Day (No School)
- November 21: Multicultural Festival
- November 24-28: Fall Break (No School)
December
- December 3 – 20: Book Drive
- December 18: Fall Semester Ends
- December 19: No School for Learners
- Dec. 19 – Jan. 12: Winter Break (No School)
