Dinosaurs Invade 2/3 Classrooms!

Driving Questions:

How can we, as archaeologists, use the lives of dinosaurs to explore different life cycles?

What can dinosaur fossils teach us about their lives?

Through engaging activities and lessons, our 2/3 learners explored the world of dinosaurs and made the connection to modern life cycles. The learners tapped into their writing and keyboarding skills through writing research papers, learned about area and perimeter by creating their own Jurassic Theme Park, collaborated to create life-sized dinosaurs, dissected owl pellets, and became curators of their Dino museum to share with their families and community.

In addition, they had the opportunity to observe the life cycles of plants, caterpillars, fish, and chickens all in the 2/3 STEAM Room!

The POL was spectacular and everyone was in awe of the learning that took place.
