Camp Helping Hands – Where Kids Make a Difference

July 10-August 4: iLEAD Santa Clarita Valley

Camp Helping Hands Summer Camp provides a fun and safe place where children enjoy sports activities, games, swimming, arts and crafts, camp songs, and more. But the real mission behind Camp Helping Hands is to get young children involved in their community by way of service-learning. Through service projects and field trips, Camp Helping Hands leaves participants with a positive and lasting impression by having them work together to help make a difference in their community where it is needed most.

Announcing Chris Bojorquez – Camp Helping Hands Santa Clarita Camp Director

Chris is passionate about helping others and has been volunteering since he was in middle school with community and college organizations. He has been teaching for four years and has been a summer camp counselor and director at his school for the past three years. Chris values helping others and community, which is something he instills into his students. He heard about Camp Helping Hands and knew it would be a perfect fit. The camp philosophies and what campers experience matches up with what he values and wants for children in the world today. He cannot wait for this summer’s journey to begin.
