2/3 Maker Space Is Officially Open!

Last Wednesday the 2nd and 3rd grade Voyagers held a very special grand opening celebration. They cut the ribbon on their beautiful Maker Mountain. We are so grateful to Kym Shearman and her team of upper school learners who came in on their own time over the weekends and in the evenings to design, construct and build Maker Mountain. We look forward to the beautiful work and growth of creativity that comes out of the 2/3 classroom, thanks to Maker Mountain!

Soaring 8th Grade!
On Saturday, many of our 8th grade learners went aloft in gliders! As a culmination to their unit on aeronautics, the class had the opportunity to take a glider ride. There are two more scheduled dates, giving our 8th grade learners a chance to put their skills to use in the air. A huge thank-you to Southern California Soaring Academy and Kathleen Fredette for providing this opportunity.
