EDUCATION FOR HOMELESS CHILDREN AND YOUTH PROGRAM
The Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program is authorized under Title VII-B of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (42 USC 11431 et seq.) and is designed to address the problems that homeless children and youth have faced in enrolling, attending, and succeeding in school. The Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program exists to improve school stability, educational access, and academic achievement of children and youth who are experiencing homelessness.
