MakerSpace Workshop

SCVi is proud to announce we have partnered with College of the Canyons (COC) to offer a free workshop for our learners in their MakerSpace, Saturday, Feb. 23rd, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

What is a MakerSpace? It’s a collaborative workspace inside a school, library, or separate public/private facility for making, learning, exploring, and sharing that uses everything from high-tech to no-tech tools. The COC MakerSpace is full of a wide range of tools, including 3D printers, laser cutters, an entire wood shop, and more!

The experts in the COC MakerSpace will conduct three separate workshops for learners ages 12 and up from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., rotating through the three with hands-on experiences about 3D printing, soldering, and laser etching and cutting!

This event is only open to 30 learners and their parents (or just parents!), so sign up quickly to save your spot!
