Message from the Directors

Dear Families,

We have absolutely loved seeing our learners and staff return from winter break with such enthusiasm, cleared spirits and rested minds and bodies. As we approach the end of the semester, we must all remain diligent in helping our learners finish what they started in order to close the first half of the year with pride and reflection.

As parents we are constantly sending messages to our children, subliminally or otherwise. As we prepare to take on the second half of the year, we must, as parents and school staff, remind our learners that we believe in them. This seemingly simple expression can have a lasting impact on our learners. Letting our learners know that we all believe in them gives them the fuel to reach farther and in some cases, transform completely. In addition, offering them an extra challenge at home, i.e., learning to do their laundry, helping cook, partner reading a challenging book, being included in a family decision, etc., can increase their willingness to go above and beyond.

When we liberate our children, we have inevitably helped them establish more successful pathways for all they do. All you have to say is, “I believe in you!”

Have an amazing week!
