Message from the Directors

Dear Families,

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) has been an educational buzzword for the past decade. It is one of the pillars of an iLEAD experience, for good reason.

Our learners are navigating a world with a vastly different tool belt than we had growing up. The world they live in has a transparency and accessibility that casts a significant shadow on anything we could have imagined at their age. With that said, they need all hands on deck to help them socially and emotionally navigate this exciting, yet daunting, new normal.

There is a great responsibility as parents and educators to help our learners navigate the tricky and sticky social and emotional evolution from childhood to adulthood. At SCVi, we have all hands on deck and are committed to partnering with our learners and their families to navigate the SEL of their school experience.

We’ve included below a great resource link from parenttoolkit.com, which features K-12 user-friendly SEL guidlines, tips, videos, news, etc., to help you support your child’s SEL development

We hope you have a fantastic week!
