Monday message 11.26.2018

I hope you all had a wonderful Fall Break. I wanted to take a moment to thank our parent volunteer, Brie Childers, and our Multicultural Festival committee for an amazing experience. It was absolutely beautiful, and I heard from many of you that you felt the sense of community and heart that we want at our school. Thank you all for listening to a crazy idea and running with it. I am so proud of our school!

I also want to be sure to personally invite you all to this week’s encore performance of The Laramie Project. The president of our local PFLAG group was at the showing two weeks ago and was so impressed that they asked for an encore performance and joint benefit. We are thrilled to partner with PFLAG and be able to do this again! Please join us for this incredibly moving and poignant play.

Lastly, I want to be sure you all know about our winter boutique on December 1st. It’s a great opportunity to do some holiday shopping and support small businesses. If you, your learner, or a friend would like to be a vendor, please contact the parent volunteers ASAP.

Welcome back everyone, and I look forward to seeing you this week or next at one of these events.

Mrs. Kaufman
