Dear Families,
Friday was an incredible day for learning and innovation at SCVi! We were thrilled to host our TK-7 Aerospace Learning Showcase, where our learners proudly presented their hands-on projects, exploring everything from aerodynamics to rocketry. This event was made even more special by the strong support shown for early STEAM education by our elected officials, including Rep. George Whitesides and representatives from the offices of Senator Suzette Martinez Valladares, Assemblymember Pilar Schiavo, and Supervisor Kathryn Barger. Thank you to SCVi School Board President Nicole Miller, iLEAD Student Aerospace Projects, and especially to our dedicated families for being a part of our special day. Your presence and encouragement reinforced the importance of project-based learning and preparing the next generation of critical thinkers right here in Santa Clarita. We are immensely proud of our learners for designing, building, and presenting their way into the future!

As we look forward to the approaching Fall Break (November 24-28) and Thanksgiving, we’re reflecting on gratitude and the many ways our community supports one another. Every day, we see examples of kindness, collaboration, and care that make SCVi more than a school. It’s a place where learners are encouraged to express curiosity, take risks, and celebrate progress together. We’re thankful for our families and the partnership that helps every learner continue to grow and belong.
