Aaron L. Learner Spotlight Violin 12.5.2024 SCVi (1)

Meet Aaron L., a talented SCVi Exploration 10th grader whose passion and dedication to the violin have earned him national recognition! Recently featured on From the Top’s Daily Joy, Aaron has captivated audiences with his musical abilities. Aaron appreciates SCVi’s flexible and supportive learning environment, which empowers him to take control of his education while being guided by an inspiring team of facilitators. We’re excited to shine a spotlight on Aaron and share more about his journey.

When did you start at SCVi and what grade are you in now?

I am currently in grade 10 and joined SCVi in grade 9.

Why did you choose to enroll at SCVi?

SCVi offers the flexibility and support to match my needs. I feel that I can take better control of my learning, and there are always people there throughout the year to guide me.

What is your best memory of your time at SCVi so far?

I enjoyed the Fitness Test last year. Being able to see some of the other people from the school was new and interesting.

Who is a strong SCVi influence and why?

I would say Ms. Jenna Weaker, as she is always there making sure my school year and all my classes run smoothly. She is one of the main reasons why we picked SCVi, as she always helps us answer any questions, stays on top of everything, and keeps the year running smoothly.

Please name three to five fun or interesting facts about you.

  • I have been playing the violin for 11 years.
  • My favorite animal is a cat.
  • Apart from violin, I enjoy playing soccer and basketball and watching Formula 1.
  • I like traveling and photographing the places I visit.

Thank you for sharing more about yourself, Aaron. We’re so glad you’re with us at SCVi!
