Growing Solutions: SCVi 8th Graders Innovate with Fungi

SCVi 8th graders are not just doing science; they’re growing solutions by tackling this driving question: “How can our understanding of mycology support wellness for humanity and our Earth?”

Led by Mr. Daniel Prasch, they’re applying science and engineering practices in Mycology Lab. They started with working with fungi cultures, petri dishes, and agar in a sterile environment.
