This summer, SCVi is hosting a brand-new Creative Arts Workshop designed to offer participants a unique range of artistic, meaningful, and fun learning experiences that expand on their interests and talents related to music, singing, dance, theatre, writing, clowning, art, and magic!

Throughout the workshop, participants will curate meaningful responses to this Driving Question: “What types of problems can we solve when we explore new experiences and create meaningful connections?”

The final day of the workshop will culminate in a celebration Showcase Performance—when participants get to share what they helped to co-create—all in a very fun and collaborative way!

Learn more and reserve a spot! (This workshop will be capped at 50 maximum participants, ages 7-16.)

The SCVi Theatre Arts program is doing its annual fundraiser and we need your help!

This fundraiser will provide funds for our High School Theatre Arts and 4-8 Players productions!

Please consider donating to the program as we produce four shows this year as well as supporting things like the talent show, movie nights, many project POLs, and so much more!

We will use these funds to update our systems with new microphones, new lights, better wiring and cables, as well as props, costumes, and music for our productions.

With this fundraiser we can continue to offer enriching programs for our learners from 4th to 12th grade.

Donate today!

Thank you from all of us at SCVi Theatre Arts!

Who We Are: SCVi Charter School & Social-Emotional Growth

…some of you newly onboard may be shaking your heads wondering what we’re talking about.  We hope to inform you weekly a little bit about our culture and terminology to…

We understand that we’re different here at SCVi iLEAD!  Some terminology that we use has become second nature to those that have been part of the team for years, while some of you newly onboard may be shaking your heads wondering what we’re talking about.  We hope to inform you weekly a little bit about our culture and terminology to help guide you through your time here at SCVi.

This week: Let’s Play!

Research demonstrates that play is essential for the development of physical skills, cognitive development, and social-emotional growth. The process and benefits of play are often lost in today’s modern world, where children become addicted to screens and technology or attend more structured extracurricular classes and organized sports. Our goal is to provide an environment in which our learners can create and dismantle, explore, problem-solve, take self-regulated risks, build community, feel accomplishment, support and help others, and grow to become independent and self-reliant. We strive for our learners to learn more about themselves and others in the widest scope possible.

Want to learn more? Click here.

Want to donate items for outdoor play? Here’s how you can help our learners grow through play!

We want to hear from you!
