This spring, SCVi Theatre Arts is performing Grease! We are already hard at work rehearsing and building sets! We just need a little help bringing our vision to life. Your support, whether it’s through volunteering your time, purchasing an advert package or making a donation, will make a significant impact on the success of our production.

Join us as we go back in time to revisit this classic romance.

We have five different packages available, ranging in price and size.

The SCVi Fun Run Fundraiser is coming soon! This will be an all-school event to fundraise and promote a love of physical activity. All grade levels are encouraged to participate. Share your favorite way to be active in the Fun Run Learner Spotlight today, and get ready to put the fun into fundraising. The SCVi Snap fundraising site will be live next Sunday, January 28. We are excited to invite our seniors to our 2nd Annual Senior Class Lock-in on Friday, January 19! Available to seniors of the SCVi class of 2024 only, this is an all-night party and movie marathon in the SCVi Theatre. Tickets are $25 until January 17 or $30 at the door (included in Stallion Package). Ticket covers all food, beverages, and games! Tickets can be purchased with cash or check from Harrison in Innovation.

Space Accelerator Project Launched October 20

Friday was an out-of-this-world day for SCVi 8th graders! 
 
On Friday, October 20, we launched the Space Accelerator project! Building on our prior work around space exploration and colonization, learners will now do a deep dive into astronomy, entrepreneurialism and innovation as they answer this driving question: β€œWhat are the products and innovations necessary to develop in order to survive, flourish, and sustain life away from our home planet?” 
 
This project is led by Ms. Benedetti and Ms. Lipari, and our learners will present their discoveries at a highly anticipated Presentation of Learning on December 8!

On October 12 and 13, 2023, SCVi learners on DreamUp Launch Teams Bok Choy and Yucca Glauca loaded their Mixstix with their groundbreaking experiments.

For each team, one Mixstix will stay grounded here on Earth, while the other is destined for the International Space Station on November 3!

Our learners on Team Bok Choy are excited to learn the answer to their question: “What is the effect of microgravity on the germination of bok choy seeds?”
