Through three distinct College Connect pathways, students can earn college credits, explore career interests, build independence, and gain the real-world skills they need to thrive after graduation.

The Biliteracy Pathway

SCVi’s Biliteracy Pathway provides learners with a robust K–12 foundation across multiple languages, strengthening communication skills and deepening cultural understanding. Students build fundamental proficiency, not just exposure, opening doors to college advantages, global career opportunities, and a broader worldview.
Key Highlights:
K-5th Grade: Dual Language Immersion
A foundational program that sparks early language acquisition and deep cultural understanding.
6th-8th Grade: Spanish Elective & World Travel
Immerse yourself in Spanish culture and language with an exciting international field study experience.
- Develop vital skills early: Build essential self-directed learning and time management skills crucial for college success.
- Experience college-level concepts: Our non-credit class provides middle schoolers a low-pressure introduction to advanced academics.
9th-10th Grade: World Language with Seal of Biliteracy
- Earn three years of a world language for college credit while still in high school.
- Work toward the prestigious California Seal of Biliteracy and a College of the Canyons Language Certificate of Specialization (either Basic or Intermediate), significantly enhancing academic profiles and college applications.
11th-12th Grade: Continue World Language & Lead
- Deepen language skills and gain invaluable real-world experience through advanced international field studies.
- Cultivate leadership qualities by mentoring underclassmen, reinforcing their own mastery.
- Extend college classes through concurrent enrollment classes at the college.
College Launchpad

SCVi’s College Launchpad Pathway helps learners earn transferable college credits while still in high school, giving them a meaningful jump-start on general education requirements. Students gain confidence with college-level work and build a smoother path toward a four-year university.

6th-8th Grade: Middle School Non-Credit Class
A fantastic, pressure-free introduction to college-level learning.
Counseling 110: Navigate College Successfully
Learners gain essential college navigation and success strategies early in their high school career.
4 CAL-GETC Core Courses: Save Time & Tuition
Fulfill critical general education requirements, saving valuable time and tuition costs in college.
- Diverse Exploration: Three courses in Social/Behavioral Sciences and Art/Humanities, broadening their intellectual horizons.
- Cultural Understanding: Includes Ethnic Studies to develop a critical understanding of diverse cultures and social issues.
Plus: Up to 2 More Courses with IB English and IB History
