SCVi Theatre: The Importance of Being Earnest

We are thrilled to announce our last production of the 2019-2020 school year! The SCVi players present Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy of manners, The Importance of Being Earnest, May 24th and 25th.

This play examines what happens when people elect to obscure sides of themselves from others by leading double lives. It’s a hilarious festival of witty statements and convoluted situations centered around love.

We are performing this piece as “dinner theatre,” which means that you sit at tables and will have food and drink (a high tea comprising cake, cucumber sandwiches, tea, and soft drinks).

You can buy an individual ticket, or a table which seats six. Buying a table gives you a hefty discount on the overall ticket price. All proceeds go to funding the theatre students for theatre trips and learning scholarships, so come and laugh, eat, be entertained, and support our wonderful theatre learners!

Performances are Friday, May 24th, at 6 p.m., and Saturday, May 25th, at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Click here to reserve tickets.
