2017-18 SCVi Leadership Team

  • Victor Carone, Family Life and Learner Success and Middle School Lead
    Victor Carone provides support to families and learners, serving as a bridge between the school and families. Victor’s focus will incorporate working closely with Student Support to ensure the social-emotional success of our learners as well as providing our staff with support to meet family and learner needs. Victor will also be the Middle School Lead.

 

  • Malaka Donovan, Innovation Studios
    Malaka Donovan coordinates and supervises SCVi’s hybrid program for both middle and upper school and works alongside learners as a guide. In addition, she is a member of iLEAD’s Maker Team and coordinates the yearlong Senior Internship Program.  

 

  • Lisa Latimer, Instructional Development and Lower School Lead
    Lisa Latimer works closely with the Maker Team  to monitor curriculum implementation and ensure that curriculum and projects align with the mission and vision of iLEAD schools and content standards. Lisa will also be the Lower School Lead.

 

  • Kris Nilsen, Academic/College/Career Advisor
    Kris Nilsen provides guidance and academic counseling to ensure learner success. Kris is excited to incorporate the college information system Naviance in 9-12 classes. Through Naviance learners will be able to “Make a choice that is the right fit for their passions and future!” Kris is responsible for course scheduling, transcripts, credit revisions, college and career counseling, and working with the senior class as their advisor.

 

  • Nicole Padovich, Operations and Upper School Lead
    Nicole Padovich is responsible for planning and coordinating the day-to-day operations of SCVi. Nicole will work to establish and maintain relationships with all members of the school community as well as provide support with all policies and procedures. Nicole is also the Upper School Lead.

 

  • Cheryl Sena, Programs & Communications/International Baccalaureate (IB) Coordinator
    Cheryl Sena works closely with PALS (Parents, Alumni, and Learners) on events, activities and communications.  As International Baccalaureate (IB) Coordinator, Cheryl provides support and training to facilitators to ensure the IB program is rich, rigorous and relevant.

 

  • Elsa Williamson, Site Assessment and Community Life
    Elsa Williamson focuses on ensuring all learners attend school daily and on time, coordinates school and state assessments, and communicates with families in regards to the Student Success Team.  In addition, Elsa provides support to facilitators in maintaining consistent and effective communication to their families.
