Class of 2017 Grad Nite

Friday, June 1, to Saturday, June 2

Buses depart SCVi at 12 noon and return next day

If your grad has purchased tickets for Grad Nite (please note, tickets are sold out — if tickets have not already been purchased, they are not available for purchase at this time) on June 2, please read the following information:

• All upper school attendees (Exploration and Innovation learners follow your program’s guidelines) must attend school, particularly Advisory on Friday, June 2, 2017.
• Per Disney Guidelines, all SCVi attendees will take a bus to the theme park.
• Buses will depart at 12 noon for Disneyland.
• We will go to Disneyland during the day.
• We will meet at the main gate at 9 p.m. to walk to the Grad Nite gate together.
• Small purses and backpacks only.
• Disney has its own Dress Code and Attendee Guidelines. Please note, if a learner doesn’t comply with the dress code or the attendee guidelines, they will be released to their parents. (Parents will need to come to Disneyland to pick up their senior. So, please read the guidelines carefully.)
• While Disney allows small coolers, they will not be permitted on the bus. We will provide water and snacks. Please let us know if your learner has any dietary restrictions, and we will be sure to provide a snack for them.
• We have reservations at Denny’s for breakfast at 3 a.m. on Saturday; the cost for breakfast was included in the ticket price.
• Please plan on picking up your learner at the school, s/he may not drive home after Grad Nite. This is to ensure that our sleepy seniors do not drive home after being up all night.
