Join SCVi’s Dual Immersion Program on Monday, May 5, at 1:00 PM for a festive afternoon filled with learner performances, traditional music and dance, and a glimpse into the history of Cinco de Mayo. Come hungry! Food truck items and more will be available for purchase.

Why Do We Celebrate Cinco de Mayo?
Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Battle of Puebla in 1862, when the Mexican army achieved a significant victory over French forces. While it’s not Mexico’s Independence Day, it is a powerful celebration of resilience, heritage, and unity.
