Multicultural Feast Success! Thanks to All Our Volunteers!

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to the dozens of families who helped on Friday before break at our Multicultural Feast.

The ritual of coming together share a meal is a centuries-old custom that breaks down the barriers and differences between diverse populations. From the beginning, the Multicultural Feast at SCVi has been a loved tradition giving our families an opportunity to sit and invite one another to hear about their personal family traditions around gratitude and of course food!

All grade levels participated and a fun family atmosphere permeated the day. We owe our gratitude for such a beautiful feast of shared story and meal to all our volunteers who prepped, set up, served and left the spaces used better than we found them!

Thank you to Elsa Williamson for her organization of the day. Thank you to the 4/5 team for graciously welcoming the serving area into their spaces. And thank you to Colleen Shanahan for coordinating the distribution of leftovers to those in need in our community.
