Each year, we host a Pancake Breakfast and Festival of Trees & Lights for our SCVi Families to enjoy! For those not familiar, the Festival of Trees & Lights is a highly successful fundraiser where each grade level auctions off a decorated holiday tree with a specific theme at the Pancake Breakfast. This year, the event will be held on<\/span> Friday, Dec. 7th<\/b> and is always held prior to school starting, beginning at <\/span>7 a.m<\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n

The following will be the themes for each grade level:<\/b><\/p>\n

Innovations: MOVIES\/FILM<\/span><\/p>\n

Explorations: UNICORNS<\/span><\/p>\n

TK\/K\/1: LEGOS<\/span><\/p>\n

2\/3: DR. SEUSS<\/span><\/p>\n

4\/5: VIDEO GAMES<\/span><\/p>\n

6th Grade: HARRY POTTER<\/span><\/p>\n

7th Grade: STRANGER THINGS<\/span><\/p>\n

8th Grade: DIA DE LOS MUERTOS <\/span><\/p>\n

Upper School: THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS<\/span><\/p>\n

The following items will be needed to successfully decorate each tree, (please look out for an email from your Facilitator, if you haven’t received one already):<\/span><\/p>\n

\n
• One 3-foot (<\/span>or any size<\/span><\/i>) artificial tree per grade level, (e.g. All of TK\/K\/1 will need <\/span>ONE<\/b> tree, all of 2\/3 will need <\/span>ONE<\/b> tree, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n
• Anything related to the theme of the tree to decorate (ornaments, gift cards, toys, games, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n
• Floral wire (green or silver \u2014 each ornament or item will need to be wired on to prevent them from falling off)<\/span><\/li>\n
• If families are unable to donate because of location, gift cards to Michaels, JoAnn’s, etc. to purchase necessary items would be appreciated.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  There will be bins in the lobbies of Little iLEADers, the Lower School and the Upper School for donation drop-offs. <\/b><\/p>\n
