Today was truly out of this world! SCVi 8th graders were honored to host Al Bowers, NASA Armstrong Chief Scientist, retired, who shared captivating insights from his illustrious career. Drawing inspiration from the graceful albatross, he developed the groundbreaking Prandtl Wing, which is now showcased at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum and California Science Center. Encouraging young people to develop and bring their own ideas to the world, Al consistently encourages and empowers learners to soar!<\/p>\n
