Dear SCVi learners, families, and staff,
Thank you all for all your participation and support as we returned our TK-8th grade to a full site-based learning program last week. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding with both our distance learning and site-based transitions. We will continue to revise and share our systems to streamline the arrival and dismissal procedures while maintaining health and safety guidelines. It is great to have so many learners back on campus learning and laughing together again!
We also all have work to do in order to make this world a better place. This work requires positive action. We encourage this work in ourselves, our staff, our learners, and all of our families out of love for each other and our collective community. Each of us has a voice that is unique to us. What is important is that each of us find our own voice and use it to contribute to positive change in our world. We must show up to make this world a better place for each other, for our children, for their children and for their grandchildren.
We believe where we can have the greatest immediate impact is in how we treat each other and how we continue to strive to provide an equitable educational program. We will continue to advance our understanding, our learning, and our work to enhance and strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are committed to support and encourage awareness and share resources in an effort to address systemic inequity and social injustice.
If real, long-lasting change is going to happen in our community and society, now it is up to us to do our part individually and collectively.
Yours in unity,
The SCVi Leadership Team

P.S. Don’t forget to re-register! Please check your email for the link to re-register for the 2021-22 school year and complete the forms as soon as possible. One of the primary purposes of the re-registration process is to ensure your child’s safety. You’ll supply emergency contact info, your child’s health info that we need to be aware of, and signatures for forms that must be updated yearly. Please click here for an instructional video. In July, we’ll ask you to complete the School Nutrition Programs forms, which help us provide lunches and receive funding for our school. Thank you for your prompt attention as we complete re-registration for 2021-2022!
