SCVi family enjoys paint night

Dear families,

We want to express our immense gratitude and appreciation to all of the learners, families and staff who have made our initial transition back to our “school house” an extreme success for TK/K and 1st graders. It has been very smooth from the initial health screening questionnaire check and temperature taking in the valet drive-through to learning in the classroom and playtime during recess.

Another special thanks to all families remaining in distance learning for your understanding as we’ve adjusted to synchronous class times and cohort days.

This is definitely a team effort, and we are very grateful for you, our “village,” as we continue to do everything we can to provide another seamless transition from distance learning to our hybrid learning program on-campus.

That being said, it will truly take our entire SCVi family to keep all learners and staff safe and healthy as we begin to reunite on campus. It is up to each of us to follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure that our on-site program at school continues. We all must continue to wear our masks not only at school but also when we are out in the community. We encourage you to continue practicing guidelines by keeping your family safe at home as much as possible. Please continue to limit contact with anyone outside of your bubble. Let’s keep everyone on campus safe and COVID-free so we can continue learning in-person on campus.

We will be hosting a TK-5 Welcome Back to School Night to review all important information for our transition for those choosing to participate in the hybrid on-campus learning and for those remaining in distance learning on Tuesday, March 9, at 5:30-6:30 PM. Please join us! We will also host another information session for our 6th graders as we near their return date. Please look for the Zoom links via ParentSquare.

Please know that we are still accepting new learners in all grade levels until class sizes are full and classroom space is limited for on-site in-person instruction. We will continue to offer distance learning for the remainder of the year. Should you decide you would like your child who is currently in distance learning to return to campus after this point, we will be able to accommodate as long as space permits.

Yours in unity,

The SCVi Leadership Team
