As the kids begin to realize that there are only four weeks left of school, we need to work hard to remind them that there are four more weeks that they can take advantage of learning. With SBAC testing almost finished, our learners will be spending the rest of the year finishing their projects, defending their portfolios (seniors), and putting together their learner showcases, reflecting on their growth this year.
I am so excited that this week we have the Space Accelerator Program happening at our site. We welcome our visitors from Israel as they partner with our learners to find solutions for settling on Mars! I cannot wait to hear the conversations, with it all culminating with the Hack-a-thon on Friday.
Opportunities like these are usually reserved for few, if available at the school at all. We are fortunate enough at iLEAD that we make sure that these opportunities are always available for everyone.
