The word PROM printed on clothespin clipped cards in front of defocused glowing lights.

Beverly Hills Prom
Friday, May 12
4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Scarlett Belle, Oxnard, CA

Ticket sales for the Beverly Hills Prom, SCVi’s 5th Annual Junior/Senior Prom have finished. Ninety upperclassmen will meet at the Shakespeare Theater at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 12, for the annual promenade of prom attendees, before boarding buses to Oxnard. The promenade will begin at 4:15 p.m. and we will board buses at 5 p.m. We will arrive at the pier to take pictures, and the Scarlett Belle will depart at 7 p.m. for a cruise around the harbor. Some guidelines to remember:

  • All prom-goers in the on-site Upper School program need to attend school on Friday, May 12, in order to attend the prom.
  • For the safety of our prom-goers, we have secured four charted mini buses to transport them to and from the venue; all attendees need to use this method of transportation.
  • The harbor may be chilly, please consider bringing a light sweater or shawl for your comfort.
  • Our buses will return at 11 p.m. If you’re picking up your learner, please be at the school on time, so that the tired chaperones can get some rest.  : )
  • Our No. 1 goal is that our juniors and seniors have a fun and SAFE prom. With this in mind, we trust our learners will abide by the following guidelines:
    • As with all school activities: All event attendees will refrain from the consumption of alcohol, electronic cigarettes, tobacco or the use of any illegal drugs on the day of the event, at the event, or following the event. Any learner found to be in the possession of or under the influence of any alcohol or illegal drug will be disciplined under the SCVi/iLEAD School Board rules. The learner(s) and his/her guest will be asked to leave the event in the company of his/her parent/guardian.
    • The SCVi/iLEAD event is an evening activity; after-event activities and hotel room rentals are discouraged. Parents are cautioned that they will assume liability if they authorize, condone or arrange any of the aforementioned activities.
