Learners will get an up-close look at gliders used as part of iLEAD Student Aerospace Projects, on Monday, Feb. 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The goal of this event is to share the excitement and love of flight with young people and the entire SCVi school community!
This year, 8th-grade learners are immersed in the Glider Project, which provides the opportunity to understand the basics of physics, and explore the impact of flight now and in the past by asking and answering the question:How can opportunity impact our outlook?
These learners will interact with pilots around the aircraft as they move through four stations and also meet with a pilot guest presenter. After that, all of our SCVi learners will have the chance to visit the glider and talk with the pilots.
Family members are welcome too!
