We’re excited to announce that this summer iLEAD will be offering its first ever Summer Arts Camps for youth ages 12 and up.
Our inaugural Arts Camp offerings include two theater camps and one film camp. Our theater camps will be directed by Tiffany Oliver, who has done an incredible job this year with the winter show, “Little Shop of Horrors” and other incredible theater learning experiences at the SCVi Upper School.
- July 24-28 Theater Camp 1: Acting Intensive. At this camp, the focus is on honing participants acting skills as they focus on character work, monologues, audition techniques and more.
- July 31-August 4 Theater Camp 2: Intensive Scene Study. At this camp, participants will focus on acting with others and will prepare various scenes to perform. They will also have the opportunity to create a basic acting reel (for an additional fee).
Students choosing to attend both camps will receive a discounted rate.
We’re also offering a fun and engaging film camp, taught by multi-award winning writer/director Ramon Hamilton, who runs the Design Tech Program at the SCVi Upper School and teaches filmmaking classes and business and entrepreneurship classes. Past students Ramon has mentored have gone on to attend Chapman University, NYU, USC and other colleges.
July 24-August 4 Film Camp: At this camp, students will work together to make a professional short film along with the other campers. They will be engaged in screenwriting, acting, producing, camera operation, sound, editing and much more!
