SCVi, iLEAD's Founding School

Message from the Leadership Team

dream big, set goals, take action - inspirational handwriting on a napkin with a cup of coffee

Dear SCVi Families,

It was great meeting the families at our PAC (Parent Action Collaboration) kickoff last Wednesday. We look forward to working together to make this school year the best one yet! If you missed the meeting, the next on is Oct. 5. You may also email foundation.office@ileadschools.org to find out how to get involved with volunteering on campus.

As September ebbs and we flow into October, we are excited that our ILPs have been under way. Goals for the year are being made, and we are solidifying our relationships with families and learners. We’re also looking forward to our upcoming fall events and the opportunities for all of us to get involved. Our Exploration team has reached out, and invited our whole school to join them in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and/or in Box City.  In a couple of weeks, there will be a week off for our learners, while our facilitators participate in professional learning. Finally, during the third week, we have our Full STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Ahead Day and our Annual Fall Festival and our Mid-Fall Break.

Finally, to ensure the safety of all our learners,  pleae use our VALET to drop off and pick up your learner(s) in 2nd – 12th grade. If you choose not to use the valet, we ask that you park and walk your learner into the school. And, if your learner is in the Little iLEADER’s building, please park your car and walk your learner to the building. Pulling past the cones, dropping off directly in front of the main entrance, or temporarily pulling into a front space to quickly drop off your learner, then backing out creates traffic and blind spots. The safest and fastest way to drop off your learner is by using the valet at the end of the cul de sac by Upper School.   See the Valet and Drop Off/Pick Up Guidelines below to better understand our Valet process and guidelines.

Have a fabulous week!
