Each learner should have the following supplies to ensure their active participation in class:
- 1 notebook per subject (it may be a single notebook per class or multi-subject notebook with a section for each class)
- 1 folder per subject (or another system to organize handouts by class)
- Extra college-ruled lined paper
- Pencils with erasers (if mechanical, please have extra lead)

- Daily planner — can be digital.
Recommended: We use electronics in class; it helps if learners bring a laptop or tablet that has access to the Internet.

Each English class will be reading three to four novels or plays. Each learner will need a physical or electronic copy of each book. A list of the books needed will be emailed home during the first week of school.
