We hope you’re enjoying the remainder of Winter Break. We look forward to seeing learners when classes resume Tuesday, January 12. We would like to send out a huge thank-you to one of our seniors, Spencer West, for completing and donating Buddy Benches for our playground! His kind contributions of the Buddy Benches were a part of his Eagle Scout project. Spencer took this opportunity to benefit his school community and the learners at SCVi. We appreciate Spencer’s demonstration of leadership, collaboration and project planning while completing this project during distance learning. Thank you, Spencer! Great work!
We would also like to take this opportunity to share that after three years of exceptional school board leadership, Tracy Hild has resigned from her position as one of our board members.
We want to express our sincere gratitude to Tracy Hild for her service and time on the SCVi board. Board service takes a commitment of time, energy, and attentive focus on helping an organization. Tracy took on her board duties with dedication, grace, integrity, and compassion.
Tracy’s willingness to support our efforts as well as her deep understanding of our school culture and philosophy have been greatly appreciated. She was always thorough and deliberate on all matters concerning SCVi, consistently putting our learners first. We will miss working with her as a board member but look forward to staying in touch for years to come.
