Dear learners and families,
We hope that this message finds you well. Thank you so much for the overwhelming support for all our staff at SCVi this past Staff Appreciation Week!
We are so fortunate to have such dedicated and talented professionals on our team. This week we want to celebrate some of our unsung heroes.
We want to acknowledge each and every member of our Care Team, who have always been there to answer any call throughout the year regardless of the request. They are the right and left hands of our facilitators, office staff, school nurse, and leadership team. In the learning spaces, they offer academic supports in reading, writing, and solving math problems; they wipe runny noses, problem-solve, open yogurts, ensure safety on the playground, hug away bumps and bruises, get ice packs. They even cover the front desk. There are too many ways to list! Whatever they are called to do, they always do so gracefully and wholeheartedly.
As we checked in with each grade-level team this past week, every one of them noted how willingly our Care Team stepped in to their new roles as the remote learning education specialist support team. Because of our Care Team, learners have skyrocketed in their sight word recognition! Because of them, learners are able to receive their Specialized Academic Instruction. Because of them, learners have someone to go to when they need questions answered that they may be apprehensive to ask in Zoom class meetings! Because of them, our education specialist can confidently report that all learners are receiving the support they need!
Our Care Team is the glue that keeps it all together for all of us. We appreciate each and every one of them for everything they do!
With gratitude
The SCVi Leadership Team
