American Sign Language (Signingtots) [S]

ASL 1 This course is designed for you to learn the basics of ASL American Sign Language in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. You will learn a variety of vocabulary words, the ASL alphabet, ASL syntax, Deaf Culture, and be able to hold a conversation using ASL. This class will have weekly homework, projects, quizzes and tests that will be graded. ASL 2 will continue to learn how to communicate using American Sign Language. They will research different scenarios within the deaf culture and continue to learn about Deaf History. This course includes expanding the student's ASL Vocabulary, Fingerspelling, Sentence structure with non verbal expressions, and Conversational signing. Pre req: ASL1.
