Spanish 1

Spanish 1is an introductory course studying language and culture from Spanish-speaking countries. This course is designed to teach language at the beginning level. In this course learners will be introduced to the four essential language skills: speaking, writing, reading, and listening. In additions to studying the culture of
various Spanish- speaking countries, learners will also learn greetings, verb conjugations, basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammatical structures. They will learn to communicate in the target language using topics of family and friends, foods, traveling, sports and shopping in the present and past actions.
