IB News
Thank-you to those who came to the recent IB information meeting. I enjoyed meeting our parents and discussing the many advantages of the IB program at SCVi. Click here for the presentation slides. If you would also like access to the audio file, please let me know.
As part of SCVi’s commitment to developing the IB program, I am looking to set up a parent committee, which I would love you to become involved with. It is open to all of you — from lower school to upper school — regardless of whether your learner has started any IB courses yet. Rest assured that there is no prior knowledge of the IB needed. I am interested in seeing how we would like to the program to develop to become a thriving and essential part of the SCVi community. Please email me if you would be interested in being a part of this group.
The Senior IB learners have now completed all of their Internal Assessments; these have been uploaded and submitted to examiners across the world. It’s a huge milestone for learners once this has been ticked off their “To-Do List”, and learners should take a brief moment to celebrate their commitment. The exams are the final stage of this journey, and these begin with World History on Tuesday, May 7th. Thank you for your continued encouragement and support with these learners.
