Monday Message

Dear Families,

The School Site Council is a group of facilitators, parents, other staff, and learners who work with the leadership team to assist in the review and evaluation of school improvement programs and the budget. The members of the site council are elected by their peers and serve a term of 1, 2, or 3 years. The School Site Council will meet a few times per year as needed, with a minimum two meetings.

We are looking for parents and community members who would love to serve on the School Site Council. Five people will be elected to this role. If you’re interested, please contact Priscilla Vezich at Priscilla.Vezich@SCVi-K12.org to be placed on the election ballot no later than December 15. Elections will be held in January.

Important Announcement Regarding Skateboards

We have noticed an influx of learners bringing skateboards, roller skates, etc. to school. It is a policy at SCVi that learners may not skate or carry skateboards around campus, as it may lead to injury or damage to school property. We ask that if learners do bring skateboards to school to only use them before/after school off-campus, that they check in the skateboard to the office, or their facilitator to hold it until they leave. If for any reason a learner uses a skateboard on campus, it will be confiscated and might lead to disciplinary action. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the school.

Final Mile Challenge

SCVi is going to participate in the Final Mile challenge. We would love for you to join us. The SCHOOL PASSWORD is: FMC (Please use this when registering). Please include the flyer attached below.
