SCVi learners

Hello, SCVi learners and families,

Welcome to another first week at school, and it’s not even Groundhog Day. This week we welcome our sixth grade team as they join our elementary school grades at school for our hybrid in-person learning program. Welcome to middle school, sixth graders. You’ve waited an extra eight months to climb the stairs to the sixth grade hall, and we can’t wait to have you on campus! Our hearts are brimming with joy after having our entire elementary school team back on campus while still maintaining our distance learning for those staying snug as a bug in a rug at home too. Hats off to our entire staff for making it such a smooth transition back to our schoolhouse.

Thank you to everyone who joined our Middle School Welcome Back to School Night last week. The energy in the Zoom room was electric, and we’re certain you could feel our entire middle school team’s excitement to have all learners ready to join us back at school. Tonight we will be hosting our Upper School Return to Campus Info Night via Zoom at 5:00 PM, so we hope you are able to join us.

We are over the moon about being back on campus together. Spring break is quickly approaching, so we encourage you to sharpen your saw with a creative staycation at home while we all continue to work together to lower the COVID-19 cases in our community. Let’s keep our on-site program open by keeping ourselves healthy!

Last but not least, SCVi values your feedback! Please be sure to take the Panorama Education survey to tell us about your experience with SCVi. To ensure we continue to provide high-quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for college and career, we need your feedback by March 31. Please check your email, including your spam folder, for a message from Panorama Education. (Or if you prefer, you may click here now. Please use code 2422824128 for seat-based learners; code 3558268536 for independent/home study learners.)

Thank you in advance for your thoughtful responses. If you have any questions about the survey administration, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@scvi-k12.org.

With gratitude,

The SCVi Leadership Team
Nicole Padovich, Director, Upper School and Operation
Nessa Roffredo, Director, Lower School
