SCVi 8th graders took flight this weekend! iLEAD Student Aerospace Projects’ Soaring Aerodynamics Project introduced learners to the engineering design process and gave them the chance to fly a glider. We are grateful to Skylark North Glider Flight School for hosting and guiding our learners. SCVi Codirector Chad Powell and 8th grade facilitators Ally Benedetti and Michelle Guire got in on the adventure as well and were honored with patches and first flight pins from iLEAD California Director of STEAM Initiatives Kathleen Fredette.
