SCVi 10th Graders Partner with Taiwanese Peers to Address International Goals

Santa Clarita Valley International (SCVi) Charter School 10th graders have enjoyed the privilege of collaborating with Dr. Cheng-Levine, Dean of International Affairs and Global Engagement at College of the Canyons, and Hsinchu Girls High School (HGHS) in Taiwan. Together, they’re working on a project to address one of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Gender Equality.

Engaging in the “Critical Friends” protocol, on Thursday, June 6, SCVi 10th graders offered thoughtful feedback to their Taiwanese peers at HGHS. This student-centered project highlights the strength of global partnerships and the significance of collaborating to create a better world.
