Staff Spotlight: Jenna Weaker

Jenna Weaker is one of our SCVi Exploration Educational Facilitators. This is her first year with SCVi and she is very excited to have joined our team. Before being with us at SCVi, she was a classroom teacher with LAUSD for eight years, and then took the last five years off to be home with her two children. She has a third-grader and a Kindergartener, and this year she is celebrating her ten-year wedding anniversary with her husband!

She loves that working with Exploration means allowing all her families to have personalized and meaningful educational experiences. Her favorite part of her job has been making relationships with her learners and their families. When Jenna is not working, she loves spending time her family, attending church, and travelling. She is a space fanatic and one of the coolest things she has done is stand on the launch pad in Florida below the Space Shuttle!
