Staff Spotlight: Michelle Eifert, 2nd/3rd Grade Facilitator

I was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, and attended the University of California, Irvine, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Educational Studies. After graduation, I decided to pursue my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Master’s Degree at California Lutheran University. Since then, I have taught preschool, 5th grade at iLEAD Encino, and 2nd and 3rd grade in Chicago. I had moved to Chicago with only two courses left to complete my master’s degree. Now, I am thrilled to be back in California to complete those courses and graduate in May!

Outside of school, I enjoy attending concerts, baking, and watching football and baseball. I love to travel to new places as well. I recently got my passport and can’t wait to use it more. I love to stay busy, and being organized keeps me calm. Finally, if I could eat macaroni and cheese for the rest of my life, I wouldn’t be upset about it.
