Amie Johnson provides virtual and in-person tutoring. I am a highly trained, qualified, and skilled individual who has been passionately teaching literacy for over twenty years. I am a reading specialist with a Master's Degree in Reading instruction. I hold a certification from the IDA as a structured literacy specialist, I am a Master Barton Tutor, an IEW instructor, and I am trained in Orton-Gillingham methods as well as the speech-to-print approach. I provide prescriptive and explicit instruction to students who are struggling with reading and writing.
