Scarlet Update: Happy New Year + Shade Structure Pics

Happy 2021 to our SCVi Community!

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and got a chance to relax, reflect, and recharge. Or at least got some good binge-watching in!

Our hope for 2021 is that our learners get to go back to campus and that we all get to see each other “live and in-person” again soon.

We’re not sure when that will be, but we are thrilled to announce that when it does, our learners will be able to enjoy the new shade structure!

YES, THE SHADE STRUCTURE IS COMPLETE!!!

This was on the SCVi wish list for quite some time and, thanks to our generous community (that’s YOU!), we were able to fund it last year.

We want to thank you for patiently enduring the long permitting process and material and installation delays due to COVID.

We can’t wait to see our learners enjoy the shade!

Special Message from SCVi Leadership

We are over the moon to share that the Lower School playground shade structures were installed over Winter Break. We cannot wait to see the looks on all of our learners’ faces when they finally get to return to campus and see the new shade! Our thanks on behalf of our entire school go out to our Scarlet Foundation for organizing this entire project, from the initial fundraising to the final installation process. A very special thank-you to all of the SCVi learners for their hard work advocating for the needs of their school during the Step It Up fundraisers. We are fortunate to have such generous and gracious families and community members. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you all for your donations and continued support.
