Using your own unique artwork created in any medium, tell us how our school makes learners feel “Free to Think. Inspired to Lead” (iLEAD Mission Statement).

iSUPPORT is pleased to partner with SCVi staff and administration in a variety of volunteer opportunities. Whether you are ready to jump in and help with learners in the classroom or occasionally have an hour to spare before pickup, there is a place for you at SCVi.
On-campus volunteers must conduct a one-time LiveScan, provide proof of a negative TB test every 4 years, and attend a volunteer orientation before participating. Volunteer orientations will be held at SCVi on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-4:00 PM, and child care will be provided.

Process of ordering a vendor service (course/lesson) for your learner:
- Place your request here at least 7 business days before the start of the course.
- Your EF will screen the course information and submit it to the vendor department for approval. You will receive an Order Agreement via email when it has been submitted to the vendor department. If you do not receive an Order Agreement within 3 days of submitting this form, please contact your EF.
- The vendor department will review the submission and, if approved, will generate a purchase order for the vendor. Do not participate in services until the vendor confirms the purchase order has been approved in their billing account (OPS).
- Learner attends the course and upon completion, the vendor will submit an invoice for payment AFTER the services have been rendered.
PLEASE NOTE:
- If a learner attends classes without an approved purchase order, the parent will be responsible for any vendor charges.
- Payments to vendors can only be made for instruction that takes place while the learner is actively enrolled with iLEAD. Parents are responsible for payments and/or fees to vendors (according to their respective policies) if they choose to withdraw before the order is fulfilled.
- In special circumstances, a refund may be necessary. All funds must be returned to the school.
- Instructional funds pay for courses/lessons/classes related to direct instruction, per the ILP/AWR, but they do not cover testing or assessment fees.

How Do I Enroll at SCVi Charter School?
On our online enrollment page, click, “Start Application.” Fill out your email address and click “Get Started.” We will email you all the information you need. Fill out corresponding forms and you’re set.

A Few Things to Note About Enrolling at SCVi:
Our enrollment is open to all TK-12th grade school students. In California, children can attend a charter school anywhere within the region. For example, your child can attend any charter school within your county of residence or an adjacent county. In Santa Clarita and the surrounding area, students can enroll in a tuition-free, public charter school outside their school district.
- We are currently accepting transitional kindergarten-12th grade applications for the 2024-2025 school year.
- A child is eligible for kindergarten if the child will have his or her fifth birthday by September 1.
- For the 2024-25 school year, transitional kindergarten (TK) is for 4-year-olds who turn 5 between September 2 and June 2.

- School Tours in Summer (June – August) – Personal tours can be scheduled by emailing our office. Drop-in tours are scheduled throughout the summer.
- In-Session School Tours (August – May) – School tours give you a sense of what a regular day looks like at SCVi. Student ambassadors will take you around where you will observe open classrooms, witness how learners engage with the project-based learning and integrated-arts curriculum and collaborate with each other, and see how our innovative facilitators make thinking visible. The SCVi Spanish Dual Immersion program
serves grades K-5.
What is Dual Language Immersion?
Dual Language Immersion refers to teaching and learning in two languages. Learners are taught 50 percent of the instructional time in Spanish by a native Spanish-speaking facilitator and 50 percent of the instructional time in English by an English-speaking facilitator.
Learners share the same curriculum and project-based opportunities as their peers and have exposure to the same state standards while receiving instruction in both languages. The Spanish-speaking and English-speaking teachers will collaborate on teaching all subject material.
Why Language Immersion?
- More than 40 years of research consistently documents the power of language immersion programs to help learners attain high levels of second-language proficiency.
- No other type of instruction, short of living in a second-language environment, is as successful.
